Hi, I am Hari. I just turned 30 last December. I was born and raised in India where my brother and parents still live. I am very passionate about traveling and exploring new cultures. My career and travel started hand in hand when I left India to work in Hong Kong in 2016. Later I moved to Rotterdam in 2019. In my free time, I like to play volleyball or get in touch with my creative side and enjoy painting, photography or reading.
I have been working at De Mandemakers Groep since April 2022. I work as a Senior Pega Developer. My work is majorly in Sales Automation application which is built on the Pega platform. Besides, I also coach my junior Pega developer colleagues to improve in their job and transfer my knowledge on Pega.
What makes my job unique?
In my job as Senior Pega developer I work together with software testers, business analysts, a scrum master, internal and external developers and my team lead. Together with the team we work on a sales automation application. This is some kind of business process management tool to help our colleagues from sales work paperless and more efficiently.
This application is versatile and with this tool we can help our colleagues from every brand, like CVT, Keuken Kampioen and Brugman keukens & badkamers. In short, together we make sure that the sales department of De Mandemakers Groep becomes more digital.
What do I like about working at De Mandemakers Groep?
I find it very positive that the managers really look at your talents, experience and what gives you energy in your job. It does not matter if you are junior or senior. They are open to train juniors who are new in IT or Pega. And if you are more experienced, your ideas and advice are taken seriously. They believe in your strengths and make sure you work in the right position.
Furthermore, there is a lot of knowledge in-house on Pega or IT in general . Which means that you can learn from each other and learn new things everyday. I also like the flexible working hours, remote working and study time for self growth. De Mandemakers Groep finds it important that you get enough time and space to develop yourself.
And last but not least: I attended the ‘Las Vegas’ themed festival which I found crazy and a very nice event for all employees. It was so well organized!
